About Us

Disability Support Network was established by Kathy Norelli.

Whilst working many years in the disability community, Kathy identified a need for a more personalised, empathetic approach where individuals and their families felt comfortable and at home. Having a son with a disability inspired Kathy to create a nurturing environment where participants and their families have a say and choice over the service they want. Where Support workers, nurses and mentors are treated with respect and dignity where bonds and friendships are made in a friendly and nurturing environment.

Feedback And Compliments

DSN has been a wonderful experience for Lachlan. The staff are always friendly and easy to approach, which makes both him and us feel comfortable and supported. We couldn't ask for a better team to care for him!

I've been very satisfied with the service for quite some time now, and I've had no complaints. On the rare occasion that I do have a concern, it's easy to resolve by simply calling the service. Florian absolutely loves attending, and we couldn't be happier!

Florian: (Elida - Parent)

Holly has had a fantastic time with everyone at DSN. She truly enjoys all the outings and is already excited for more holidays next year. As parents, it means the world to us to know that Holly is always safe, her needs are fully considered, and we never have to worry when she's in the care of the DSN staff. Thank you for your exceptional service—we would highly recommend DSN to anyone!

Kathryn has been attending DSN since it first opened, and she still wakes up excited and happy to go each day. Although she is nonverbal, the staff have been incredibly accommodating and have even learned sign language to help her communicate more easily. DSN has not only provided her with a safe and supportive environment but has also played a crucial role in helping Kathryn work towards her goals. Her posture has improved, and she's made great progress in learning about hygiene, thanks to the dedicated support of the staff. We are truly grateful for everything DSN has done for Kathryn!

DSN is an outstanding facility. It's always clean, and the staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. The positive environment makes all the difference. Highly recommended!

FROM KATHY

“I am amazed by the insights and determination that the participants I work with show. Seeing people with disability in the community having fun, laughing, and interacting with others is very important to me. When the young adults I work with achieve goals, no matter how small, I can see them laying the building blocks to self-confidence and strength for everyday life. It gives me great joy to help them achieve new goals.”
