At Disability Support Network, our NDIS cooking classes are more than just preparing meals they’re about building life skills, independence, and confidence in a supportive, family-like environment. Our cooking sessions support adults with disabilities by focusing on individual goals outlined in their NDIS plans. Whether learning to follow a recipe, preparing healthy meals, or planning a weekly menu, our participants receive one-on-one or two-on-one care tailored to their needs and preferences.
Run by a team of passionate support workers and caregivers, each class is tailored to the individual’s ability level, with a strong focus on safety, routine, and positive reinforcement. Participants enjoy hands-on learning, social interaction, and the satisfaction of creating something for themselves or their families. As a fully registered provider, we meet all compliance standards, including 1.5 yearly checkups. Our nurturing, person-centred approach ensures that every participant feels supported, respected, and encouraged to grow at their own pace.
